Mandate and responsibilities
What the board does
Board members advise on the quality and scope of our research: which subjects we cover, which sources we rely on and how our editorial standards are applied. That advice sets the direction; the research and checking behind each article still happen piece by piece. When a member reviews a piece, the article says so, with the subject and the date, and board membership is never presented as legal, tax, actuarial or investment approval of a page. See our editorial standards.
Roles and interests
Each profile states the person's role at PPLI.com or at an outside firm. We do not claim that every member is independent of the company or of every commercial interest. Where a payment, referral or other relationship could affect how you read something, it has to be disclosed. Any professional service offered to you needs its own terms: who provides it, with what permissions and at what fee.
Profiles and their sources were reviewed in September 2026. A member's employer is named for context only; it does not mean that firm sponsors PPLI.com or has approved its research. For what the site covers, read About PPLI.com.
