When you read: the technical data any website receives (IP address, browser, pages visited), processed by our hosting and security providers to serve the pages and keep the site safe. We do not run advertising trackers on this edition. When you write to us through the enquiry form or by email: your name, email address, country of tax residence, and whatever you choose to put in the message; phone number and asset band only if you give them. The suitability check and the calculators on this edition run in your browser and send nothing to us.
To answer the question you sent, to correct a page you reported, and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it to build profiles for advertising. If a conversation moves towards an engagement with a third party, we tell you before any detail is passed on, and nothing is passed on without that.
Please do not send PAN, Aadhaar, passport or other identity documents, bank or brokerage statements, account numbers, policy documents or medical information. We do not need them to answer a research question, and if they arrive we delete them.
The people who answer enquiries at PPLI.com, and the providers that host the website and the email service, under contracts that limit them to providing the service. Data may be stored outside India, in the European Union, Israel or the United States, with the providers we use for hosting and email.
Correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards so that a later question can be answered in context, and is deleted on request. Technical logs are kept by the providers for the short periods their security practice requires.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent to further contact at any time, by writing to info@ppli.com. Residents of India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 as its provisions come into force; residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom have rights under the GDPR and the UK GDPR. We answer such requests within a month.
This edition uses the cookies the website needs to function and, where enabled, anonymised analytics. Preferences you set in the suitability check or a calculator stay in your browser and are not read by us.
Changes to this policy are dated at the top of the page. A change that affects how your data is used is announced on this page before it takes effect.
